We Participated in the WiN Global (Women in Nuclear) Annual Conference 30 March – 1 April 2026, Gyeongiu, South Korea
The 33rd Annual WiN Global (Women in Nuclear) Conference was held in Gyeongju, Korea, March 30 - April 1, 2026, with the theme “Nuclear Energy for New Challenges and Opportunities”. The conference, hosted by WiN Korea in Gyeongju, the former capital of Korea and a UNESCO World Heritage site, brought together expert women and young people working in and contributing to the advancement of the world's most magnificent field: "nuclear."
Our Chairperson of the Board, Ms. B. Gül Göktepe, who is also the President of WiN Türkiye, attended the conference, leading a four-person delegation representing WiN Turkey (NÜKAD), including three younger generation members, Pakize Ayşe Ciğal, Emine Tellioğlu and Kübra Harman. Göktepe attended the WiN Global Board of Directors meeting held before the conference. She made two presentations at the conference, one a paper by NUTEK Energy, entitled "Safety and Security Culture Development for Newcomers", and the second one being a report on WiN Türkiye activities, presented in the country reports session.
