ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONDOLENCE OUR BIG LOSS Dr. NECMI DAYDAY
We are deeply saddened to announce the untimely death on April 20, 2021 of our Founding Chairman of NUTEK Energy Inc, Dr. Necmi Dayday who is very well known worldwide, as much as in Turkey, with his vast experience and significant contributions in the field of nuclear energy.
Dr. Necmi Dayday was a dedicated scientist who completed his entire formal education with summa cum laude distinction, followed by his life-long professionalism and expertise in nuclear reactor physics and reactor design, as well as execution of national and international projects. With his wide knowledge that he gathered over the years; he has included a broad spectrum of accomplishments into his long career. Another important feature that distinguished him from many others was that he possessed the intricacies of nuclear diplomacy with his understanding and experience in energy policies, nuclear law, international agreements and treaties.
The world of nuclear energy is a world of insight and profound awareness of R&D. To be educated, to grow and specialize in this field, and more importantly, to share the knowledge and experience keeping in mind the national interests and to have the devotion to pass on to the younger generations is a quality that very few people are endowed with. Dr. Dayday founded NUTEK Energy Inc. with all these qualities he embodied, idealistic thoughts and vision after retiring from the public sector.
We will continue this mission to keep Dr. Necmi Dayday’s name alive with respect and love to convey his NUTEK Energy vision and ideals to young generations in nuclear sciences while remaining loyal to his legacy.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family, his friends, associates, and the nuclear energy community.
