A workshop organized by NNWI (New Nuclear Watch Institute). NIATR (Nuclear Industry Association of Türkiye) and Sustainable Energy Projects and entitled “The challenge of reporting on nuclear energy in times of a changing climate” was held in Mersin, 13-14 December 2023, specifically for and attended by journalists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Egypt. NUTEK CEO B. Gül Göktepe was one of the principle speakersat at the workshop where she addressed the role of media in managing perceptions, focusing in particular on nuclear energy and public concern. She was quaoted later as enjoying her presentation much as it involved interactions with young journalists from different countries.
